What was life like before bariatric surgery?

Before surgery I was always tired and out of breath. My joints were always hurting, and I was unable to keep up with a group of fast walkers. I suffer from DDD (degenerative disc disease) and arthritis in my lower back.

If you put off the decision to come in for a long time, why was that? What kept you from booking a consultation?

I considered surgery for about a year before actually deciding to do it

What was it like to work with the team from the start of your journey to today?

The PWLC is an amazing unit and team that worked their hardest to make me feel comfortable and confident in my health journey.

Since having surgery I am now able to live with so much less pain. My core is getting stronger which helps with my DDD and arthritis.
