What was life like before bariatric surgery?
My weight stopped me from being a confident person, from doing things with my son and from enjoying the fun things in life.

If you put off the decision to come in for a long time, why was that? What kept you from booking a consultation?
I thought about surgery for about a year or so before I actually did it. My mom helped pay for it, she and my Dad both had surgery years ago and I saw how it changed their lives.

What was it like to work with the team from the start of your journey to today?
I loved my experience. Dr. Schniederjan and Neichoy are amazing, kind, and they listen to your wants and needs. The nurse practitioners do the same, I never felt unheard and I ALWAYS felt like they cared about my outcomes and goals.

What is your life like now? What’s the #1 thing you love being able to do now?
I love being able to run around with my son. I love being more confident and fitting into smaller clothing and I love being more healthy.
